Recycling Ambassadors are star advocates for recycling living in Kanawha County, WV. Ambassadors believe in picking the most sustainable option available for their waste, and they want to encourage the people in their communities to do the same. The Recycling Ambassador Resource Center offers you the tools to become an Ambassador volunteer and carry out your work. On this site, you will find the information needed to become an expert at reducing, reusing and recycling in Kanawha County and the Ambassador Forum to communicate with the Kanawha County Solid Waste Authority and fellow Ambassadors.

The Resource Center is divided into four areas:

  2. Tool Kit (click to visit): Find the knowledge needed to become an expert about recycling and sustainable waste management options in Kanawha County. The Tool Kit touches on everything from how different materials are recycled to talking points and frequently asked questions from residents.
  3. Connect to Ambassadors (click to visit): Communicate questions, thoughts and ideas with fellow Ambassadors and the Kanawha County Solid Waste Authority through message boards known as the "Ambassador Forum," a chat room and Ambassador blog posts.
